I was told today that if someone is bleeding from a cut or any injury to read Ezekiel 16:6 and the bleeding would stop. I never heard this until today. So I have never tried it. I was told by some who has, and they say it definitely works. Here is the verse of Ezekiel. 16:6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee weltering in thy blood, I said unto thee, Though thou art in thy blood, live; yea, I said unto thee, Though thou art in thy blood, live. What do you think?

Receive Life
Posted by bli63 on January 26, 2009
Many Christians find it hard to believe that there are still many people that do not believe in the Resurrection of Jesus. Many more do not even believe that Jesus exists. As Christians we have an exciting hope to share with others. Eternal life is available to all who will believe and receive it. If we are Christians we should be sharing how to receive eternal life. We should ask God to help us to tell others about the hope we have in Jesus Christ..John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The person who believes in me, even though he dies, will live.
26 Indeed, everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe that?”

Be Assured
Posted by bli63 on January 24, 2009
There is one thing we can always be sure of. And it does not matter what circumstances we find our selves in. It is always there for us and all we have to do is ask, and believe and we can be sure that we will be heard. Prayers are answered all the time, miracles happen all the time why? Because of our Father’s amazing grace. All we have to do is open our eyes and be aware of the love God has for all mankind. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. What a sacrifice Jesus made that all could be saved. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. I am glad I made the choice to follow Jesus. How about you?

Why Did I Do That?
Posted by bli63 on January 22, 2009
What did I do that for? Sometimes we do things that we don’t understand. We really do not know why. It might be just buying something on impulse or telling someone a falsehood or maybe just getting mad over something that we shouldn’t. We all have some weakness no one is perfect. We should never let our weakness stand in the way of our walk with God. He is always there to forgive and keep us on course if will trust and believe in Him…John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Gifts Of The Holy Spirit
Posted by bli63 on January 20, 2009
We all have a spiritual gift. This gift comes from the Holy Spirit which distributes to each one as He wills. We are all one body but with many parts. Although you might not think you are spiritually gifted we each have this gift. God may already be using you and you don’t recognize your special gift, but others do. We just need to learn what the gift is and how to use it to the Glory of God.
7- A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person to produce what is beneficial: 8- To one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a message of Knowledge by the same Spirit, 9- To another faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10- To another the performing of miracles to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits to another different kinds of languages, to another interpretation of languages..1 Corinthians 12:7-10..

Faithful Servants
Posted by bli63 on January 17, 2009
Our Heavenly Father rewards faithfulness. Gifting believers with various abilities, resources, and opportunities, He expects service in proportion to our giftedness. In response, He blesses our ministries and rewards our service. Good servants are not rewarded for their results but for their faithfulness; as wicked servants are not condemned for their lack of results, but for their lack of investment in His service. Are we faithfully serving Christ? We all can bring joy to Him by investing all of ourselves to His service everyday…His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter tho into the joy of the lord… Matthew 25:21

First Things First
Posted by bli63 on January 14, 2009
Sometimes we can go through a day and never seem to get done what we intended. The phone rings, someone drops by or others’ plans interfere. And before we know it time has gotten away, there is no more. That is not a big problem if this happen occasionally. But if this happens often then we have to draw the line. We find our selves spending our time on only those things that are most crucial. Jesus knew His followers naturally were concerned about their material and emotional well being. He taught that those who focus on the things of God would have the basic provisions they need..In our spiritual lives, there are always going to be other things that vie for our time and energy. The priorities of Gods Kingdom are pushed to the side. Thats why we need to set Godly standards for the use of our time. Do we plan on sharing the good news about Jesus? Do we intentionally show love to others? Do we build into our day a specific time to read the Word and talk to God? If we dont seek first the matters of Gods kingdom they just might get pushed to the side…Luke 12:31 Instead, be concerned about his kingdom, and these things will be provided for you as well.

Most Important?
Posted by bli63 on January 10, 2009
What is most important in our lives? For some its an expensive home for others a career that ensures financial success, others good health for them and their loved ones. None of these are wrong if used to serve God. To often we stress to much emphasis on the temporary things of this life on earth, and do not stress the importance of wholeness and eternal life through Jesus Christ. Peter did not offer the lame man money, although he could have, instead he offered the man the best gift- wholeness in the name of Jesus Christ. Gods grace is free and given to those that except Him. This generous gift is the best gift of all…Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 3:6
