Ask God For What You Need

The nature of any discipline, physical or spiritual, requires that we persist at it to do it well. This is what Jesus taught about expressing our needs in prayer .What is not captured well in English is that each of the words ask, seek, and knock are in the present tense, which denotes a continued action. The emphasis is not merely prayer. but persistence in prayer. We persist because we have a Heavenly Father who is willing to answer and who is wise enough to give us what we need. We often don’t know for what to ask. But God knows what we need. No matter how many times we have called on Him, we need never hesitate to pour out our hearts to Him. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7..[KJV]….
